Text on print reads:
A drawer of insect specimen labels, from the Alexander Macleay (1767-1848)

One of the lyrical treasures squirreled away in the Macleay collection,
these
boxes of labels read like an old-world travelogue. Adding to the charm
is the fact that
the boxes were commandeered by the Macleay from an older supply of seashell
specimens,
many names of which can be read in handwriting on the borders
of the boxes.
