A slim, light and elegant piece, THE CONFESSOR combines optometrists' test lenses with several early medieval and Georgian-era artifacts. The top lens leans back slightly, like a face peering upwards. In the 'belly' of the piece lurks our man, looking out through a mica window with a somewhat guilty look. His disembodied feet occupy the lowermost lens, half-covered in red sand.

There are two tie-tack findings behind the 'shoulders' of this form.
