Hot on the heels of THE ODALISQUE, ANDANTE joins as well the company of DISSECTION OF A COQUETTE'S HEART in its exploration of the beachworn teacup handle as a wearable object. I do love the irony in the fact that this is a ring shape that humans the world over put their fingers in daily, yet how dramatically the context shifts the instant one slips it over the middle knuckle and rests it atop the outstretched hand!

Here the subject lays Gulliver-like, lashed to the cup, with only her dream(?) permitted flight.

Approximately a 9.5 ring size, although the hole is irregular, like - well, like a teacup!
